The circuit takes one around the annapurna Himal, following the courses of 2 mighty rivers: the Marsyangdi in the east and the Kaligandaki in the west, and takes one over the 5416m-high Thorung La Pass in between the upper reaches of the rivers. The Kaligandaki is the world's deepest gorge, flanked by the giant Dhaulagiri and annapurna Himalaya range . The flora, geography and culture also change dramatically around the circuit trekking. In recent, around annapurna/ Thorung la pass trekking has become a very popular and busy place for trekking, after opening in 1997. A few lucky scientist expedition groups had trekked into this region in the past 1950's. Any parties that are planning to do this trek must have a prim consideration with regard to the porter's clothing and equipment at the moment of crossing Thorung La Pass (5,416). Sometimes it may be risky due to the bad weather, such as snowing heavy, strong winds locked of trail etc. may cause problem.

Day 05: Bahundanda - Chamje (1500m)
Day 06: Chamje - Dhara Pani or Bagar Chap
Day 07: Dhara pani or Bagar Chap - Chame
Day 08: Chame - Pisang
Day 09: Pisang - Manang
Day 10: Manang rest for acclimatization. Visit the surroundings.
Day 11: Manang - Yak Kharka
Day 12: Yak Kharka - Thorung Phedi
Day 13: Thorung Phedi – Thorung Pass - Muktinath
Day 14: Muktinath -Kagbeni
Day 15: Kagbeni - Tukche
Day 16: Tukche - Ghasa
Day 17: Ghasa - Tatopani
Day 18: Tatopani rest (natural hot spring)
Day 19: Tatopani – Ghorepani
Day 20: Morning visit of Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise. Ghorepani – Tadapani

Day 22: Ghandruk - Pokhara
Day 23: Pokhara - Kathmandu
