Trekking to Everest Base Camp

This trekking goes towards the Everest region, this is the second popular trekking in Nepal with the high efficiency and competitive facilities of lodges and resorts and lies in the eastern part of Nepal. During the trekking anyone can enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha – Nepali name) along with Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumari, Thamserku, Amadablam etc. It is the land of Sherpas. Broken into deep gorges and glacial valleys. The trekking area is covered by Sagarmatha National Park and the total area measured for this park is 1148 sq km. The area has vegetation graduating from pine, hemlock, fir, juniper, birch, rhododendrons and shrubs to alpine plants and then to bare rock and snow. The area is home to the Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow and musk deer. Common birds are the impeyan, pheasant, blood pheasant, red-billed cough and the yellow-billed cough. Elevation ranges from 2845 – 8848 m. Trekking in this region starts either form Jiri or from Lukla (50 mins airtrip from Kathmandu). The itinerary will comes as follows:

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival & transfer to 3 star Hotel
Day 02: Full day Kathmandu Sight seeing by car
Day 03: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazaar
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (rest for acclimatization).
Day 06: Namche - Thyangboche
Day 07: Thyangboche - Dingboche
Day 08: Rest at Dingboche for excursion towards Chhukung
Day 09: Dingboche - Lobuche
Day 10: Lobuche - Gorakshep
Day 11: Gorakshep - Kalapatter - Lobuche
Day 12: Lobuche - Pheriche
Day 13: Pheriche – Khumjung
Day 14: Khunjung – Phakding
Day 15: Phakding - Lukla
Day 16: Lukla - Kathmandu
Day 17: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 18: Transfer to the airport for final departure from Kathmandu.
