Kalapatthar, Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Trek

This is the second popular trekking in Nepal with the high efficiency and competitive facilities of lodges and resorts and lies in the eastern part of Nepal. During the trekking anyone can enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha – Nepali name) along with Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumari, Thamserku, Amadablam etc. It is the land of Sherpas. Broken into deep gorges and glacial valleys. The trekking area is covered by Sagarmatha National Park and the total area measured for this park is 1148 sq km. The area has vegetation graduating from pine, hemlock, fir, juniper, birch, rhododendrons and shrubs to alpine plants and then to bare rock and snow. The area is home to the Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow and musk deer. Common birds are the impeyan, pheasant, blood pheasant, red-billed cough and the yellow-billed cough. Elevation ranges from 2845 – 8848 m. Trekking in this region starts either form Jiri or from Lukla

Day 01:Pick up from Airpot and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Sight seeing in Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trekking.

Day 03 Kathmandu fly Lukla - Phakding

Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazaar

Day 05: Namche Bazaar (rest for acclimatization)

Day 06: Namche Bazaar - Dole

Day 07: Dole – Machhermo

Day 08: Machhermo - Gokyo

Day 09: Gokyo rest

Day 10: Gokyo - Thagna

Day 11: Thagna - Dzonglha

Day 12: Dzonglha – Chola Pass - Louboche

Day 13: Louboche - Gorakshep (visit Kalapather and EBC)

Day 14: Gorakshep - Dingboche

Day 15: Dingboche – Namche Bazaar

Day 16: Namche Bazaar - Lukla

Day 17: Fly Lukla - Kathmandu

Day 18: Transfer to Airport.
